While bison is as nutrient dense as red meat, it is similar to white meat regarding its calorie and fat content. It’s a rich source of lean protein, higher in omega-3 fatty acids (a 3:1 ratio of omega-6 to omega-3), has an excellent concentration of B vitamins and selenium, and is packed with iron and zinc.
The bison is locally sourced from Native Land Bison, where their buffalo are raised and finished on pasture. They’re free from hormones, vaccines, and antibiotics.
The ground bison is freeze dried for optimum nutrition.
